Scottsbluff - Lillian E Harsin, 79, of 1722 Ave F died Aug 5, 1995, at the Scottsbluff Nursing Center.
A funeral will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Scottsbluff. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery in Scottsbluff. Friends may call at Jolliffe Funeral Home today from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Wednesday from 8 a.m. to noon and at the funeraal. A memorial has been established to the church.
She was born Oct 25, 1915, at Loretto, to Frank E. and Linda B. (Harbottle) Young. She grew up and received her education in northeastern Nebraska. She married Daley C. Harsin on Feb. 13, 1937, at Torrington, Wyo. She resided in Gering for many years where she provided daycare for children in her home until moving to Scottsbluff in 1981 where she had resided since. She was a member of the church.
She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law Rodney and Carol Harsin of Shawnee, Kan., and L.D. and Marilyn Harsin of Independence, Mo.; daughters and sons-in-law Janet Harsin Williams of Scottsbluff, Trudy and Fritz Rudow of Gering and Deb and Clay Carlson of Scottsbluff; brother-in-law Lige Hawley of Gering; sisters-in-law Myrtle Young of Albion and Shirley Young and Jean Young both of Lincoln; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four brothers and two sisters.
